於雨傘運動爆發前一星期寫成的作品，某程度是在想像「我們往何處去」的歌詞。不論是政治不政治，人總有窮一生也無法追回來的一些理想。對於力量、光景都有限的常人來說，在追逐完結之前，很多結果都已經明顯得有點殘酷。歌曲的Chord progression非常簡單，但不乏電子元素的音層和節奏都在持續的深化，意味光陰流轉，人來人往之際，其實社會文明是薪火相傳，亦是無可避免會被推進的。這是我在專輯最後希望傳達的一個正面信息。
特別想大家留意的是第二段「寂寞路中的沙石也是以血淚來沖洗」一句，說的是什麼沙石？請從和音中找答案。
